Bermuda Bay for Hanauma Bay...ahhh...Hawaii

Wow, If I had known just how much fun it would be to scrapbook our Hawaii trip, which Stampin' Up! gave us, I would have done it so much sooner! We've been back almost 5 months, which is how old Elihu was on the trip - so that's half of his life! Journaling about all the pictures brought back so many good memories of this amazing travel experience.

Bermuda Bay is a new In Color. It's perfect for the background of the Hanauma Bay spread below. This is what all of Hanauma Bay looks like. Fifth Avenue Floral worked so well for the pictures! I'm getting a lot of mileage out of that set. It's definitely a must have.

Bugs, Turtles, and Flowers

These first two cards were made by fellow stamping sisters. Gayle Bassett from Massachusettes made the turtle card with Nature's Nest, and Kathryn Roberts from New Jersey, made the lady bug card with the new hostess stamp set Cute as a Bug. Didn't they do a great job coloring in those images? The second two cards are what we made in this month's card club. We used Fifth Avenue Floral.

Country in the City

This new hostess set is called Country Morning. I practiced my watercoloring skills. When I grow up, I'd love to be an expert water-colorer, like my aunt. I also used Crystal Effects on the jars to make them look shiny, but it's not as easy to see on screen. Hope you like these!
